Year 3

Pentecost Faith Challenge

In Eastertide it is important for us to show how we can be disciples of Jesus by strengthening our own faith and the faith of others around us. With this in mind, Bishop Patrick has set us some faith challenges. Have a look at the document below and see how many you can achieve. Please share any that you do with you class teacher. We would love to see them.

Welcome to Year 3!

Class Books

Each term, the teacher will read at least one book aloud to the class. If your child would like to bring in their own copy of the book to follow as the teacher reads, they are more than welcome to but this is not an expectation. For this term the books will be:

Miss Madeley – The Abominables

Miss Phillips - Mr Gum

Times Table Rock Stars

In order for the children to become more confident with their rapid recall of times tables, we use an online recourse called Times Tables Rock Stars which the children can access at home. We encourage them to practise times tables regularly as it will support in all areas of maths. Each child has individual login details.

Our Fundraising for Cancer Research- Race for Schools 2020

Derby Museum Trip- The Stone Age

We went on an adventure back in time and learned all about life in the Stone Age. What a brilliant way to start a week of learning all about how life changes from the Stone Age to the Iron Age.
