1st May – Feast of St Joseph the Worker

Today we celebrate our school patron. We would love you and your family to spend sometime today or in the following week reflecting on St Joseph and thinking of ways we can follow his example. Look at the information below. When you have completed the prayer and the pledge please share them with your class teacher.

RE The Month of May: Our Lady

RE Week 1

On March 25th, nine months before Christmas, we celebrate the feast of the Annunciation of the Lord. This feast celebrates the day the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and asked her to be the Mother of Jesus. Mary was an ordinary girl from a simple town. Yet, God chose her from all time, and set her apart to be the mother of His Son.The Incarnation is among the most important Mysteries of our Catholic faith, and it reveals God's great mercy.

If you have access to a printer you may like to do this Annunciation craft on the link below. If not you could maybe copy it and colour it in. Write a short prayer thanking God/Mary for the wonderful gift of Jesus.
