The Feast of The Annunciation of the Lord

Today on March 25th, nine months before Christmas, we celebrate the feast of the Annunciation of the Lord. This feast celebrates the day the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and asked her to be the Mother of Jesus. Mary was an ordinary girl from a simple town. Yet, God chose her from all time, and set her apart to be the mother of His Son.The Incarnation is among the most important Mysteries of our Catholic faith, and it reveals God's great mercy.

If you have access to a printer you may like to do this Annunciation craft on the link below. If not you could maybe copy it and colour it in. Write a short prayer thanking God/Mary for the wonderful gift of Jesus.
