ELSA - Emotional and Social Learning
How are you feeling? Remember, it's so important to keep a check on your emotions...
Not sure what to do about your emotions? Try some of these...
1.Talk to God. There are so many ways to talk to God. This could be through silent prayer, meditation, a letter or actually talking aloud and more... "God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge!" Psalm 46.
2. Scale of 1-10. Something has happened, where is it on a scale of 1-10? 1 being "not bad at all it just annoyed me" and 10 being "I need an adult to help me with this one!" This worked for so many of us at school, why not use it now to help you with ways forward? Remember, if you need us, you have our emails.
3. Use the Well-Being activity list. We put together a huge list of things you can take the time to do JUST FOR YOU! Make it a priority on your home learning schedule.
4. Drop your teachers an email just to say hi! We love to hear from you and we'll always get back to you during school hours as soon as we possibly can.
5.Got something that works for you? An idea we haven't added to our list? Let us know!
